Telepathy machine reconstructing speech

Following is a computer or ‘telepathy machine’ reconstructing speech from brainwaves. Although the reconstruction of the original speech is a little ‘rusty’, with refinement, I’m sure it will not be long until this sort of technology is common place.

Applications for this sort of technology are far reaching in the field of medicine, with the like of patients with inability to communicate in the usual manner, being able to communicate via thought. Further applications would include the ability to communicate for the like of individuals with motor neurons disease for one, or for those with speech impediments.

This technology may well advance to include the ability to create images associated with relevant brainwaves. Perhaps it won’t be too long before we will be able to write a book, or create a movie, just by thinking about it!
